According to the latest data from Polish Central Statistical Office,from January to October 2011 Poland exported 68 thousand tons of potatoes, mainly to Byelorussia.

Prices of imported tomatoes are still growing.

In 50 week 2011 the average wholesale price of Chinese cabbage, white cabbage, onion and potatoes remained stable.

The supply of onion is still very high and a lot of producers have problems with selling their product.

Demand for pears is still rather poor. However producer prices of fruit intended for export have slightly increased recently.

Since the beginning of November on the Polish market prices of bananas have decreased by 3 % for Chiquita brand and 9 % for bananas of other brands.
