2010-03-05 | Polish onion too expensive for eastern markets
As we have already mentioned,
it seems that the prices of onions have reached the level that adversely affects the demand.
Prices have stabilized at the level of 1.10 – 1.25 PLN €/kg depending on the region of Poland.
Such high level of prices makes the export to Eastern countries almost impossible.
For Russia and Ukraine,
where the demand for Polish onion was big this season,
our onion became too expensive.
