The weather improved what resulted in bigger supply of root vegetables on the market. Producers have no longer problems with handling and delivering the goods. So far growth in supply did not significantly affect prices and contributed largely to their stability.

On Thursday, March 4, the price of washed carrot was from 0.75 PLN (0.19 €)/kg, and the price of really good quality carrot, washed mechanically was from 0.85 PLN (0.22 €)/kg to 1 PLN (0.25 €)/kg. Prices of washed celeriac remained at the level of 1.20 – 1.50 PLN (0.31-0.38 €)/kg. The price of washed beets was 0.60 – 0.70 PLN(0.15-0.18 €)/kg. Prices of washed parsley remained high at the level of 3.50 – 4.00 PLN (0.89-1.02 €)/kg.
